Jinan Public Security Attack! Cracked down on a large-scale counterfeit bearing case, successfully destroyed 12 involved gangs and 25 dens.

The Jinan Municipal Government Information Office held a press conference on June 29th to report on the latest progress of the public security system in intellectual property protection and combating crime.

According to the poster reporter, from July to December 2022, the Huaiyin District Public Security Branch, together with the Food, Drug and Environmental Investigation Detachment, set up a special team named "8.03" to investigate the criminal clues, and has successfully solved all the Corpus delicti of the case.

After in-depth investigation, the infringing brand involved in the case is a well-known enterprise, whose products are widely used in various fields such as heavy trucks, trains, aerospace, etc. The case involves a series of multiple gangs who purchase products such as outer packaging and unmarked bearings at low prices, self label and label them, and then sell them as the original brand.

During the investigation process, the special case team received guidance and assistance from the Food, Drug, and Environmental Investigation Brigade of the Shandong Provincial Public Security Department, and shared information with multiple police officers to jointly carry out a network capture operation. In the end, 12 gangs involved in the case were successfully destroyed, 25 production, sales and storage dens involved in the case were destroyed, and 47 suspect were arrested.

This heavy attack fully demonstrates the determination and ability of the Jinan Public Security Department to combat intellectual property crimes.
